Requirements

If you love to dance, this is your time to shine!

 

The Central Valley Dance Conference is open to soloists, couples or dance groups, cultural groups, dance instructors and students living or visiting the Central Valley, California.

 

Registration Fee:

There will be a non-refundable $10 fee to cover printing costs per accepted group.

 

A letter of intent:

An email telling me of your intent to participate is enough to be considered for this event.

 

Please provide the following in the body of your email:

 

· Your full name

· The name of your group if applicable

· The style of dance or name of creation

· Contact information

· Number of performers in your group if applicable

· Specify the number of dances or creation you’d like to exhibit.

 

Simple Rules:

Each dance or creation, (solo or group), is limited to a minimum of 2min. 45 sec. and a maximum of 5 min. 30 sec. per number.

 

A group is limited to 6 performers. An exemption may be granted on a case to case basis.

 

Wait for Audition Date:

Audition dates are scheduled every Tuesday and Sunday of June and July 2007. We will contact you to let you know when you are to audition.

 

You will receive a call from us by July 31st, 2007

 

Due to a huge interest in this event, it is at our discretion as to who will or will not participate this year. It is our desire to make sure that both programs present a balanced and a wide variety of dances that encompasses all socio, cultural, experience and dance styles.
