Who am I:Rico Estrada was born and raised in Mexico City. He came to the United States at the age of fourteen, where he began a new life. When he was in high School his favorite subjects were Physical Education, History, and Science. Later in college, he developed his passion for the art of dancing. He was then introduced to the Latin dances such as Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, and Cha-Cha.
From 1989-2000 Rico was given opportunities to participate in several television programs. He appeared in Buscando Estrellas con Budweiser Caliente. Mexicanisimo International. El Show de Gil Garcia Padron in Telemundo, Galavision channels 18, 21 and 59 in Fresno CA and on channels 22, 52, 59 in Los Angeles. He also received the Teacher of the Year Award given by Arthur Murray's and Diana's Dance Studios.
