The annual planning of this event brought any people together from different socio, economic and cultural backgrounds, all working together towards making this event a successful one.
Oct. 2006 - The premier event brought 17 groups of dancers of varied styles and levels, singers and musicians, together in Unity, sharing with each other information on techniques, dance schools, costuming, instruction and more. We had a total of 53 performers and 240 attendees.
Mar. 2007 brought 7 groups together for the Rogue Festival in a show entitled ‘For the Love of Dance’.
Oct. 2007 brought 20 groups for an equally successful event. held on October 19, 20 and 21. It took place at the Fresno Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Many traveled from as far as Los Angeles, Visalia, Sanger, and San Jose to participate in this unique event.
Oct. 2008 introduced extraordinary dancers on our stage including Jason (So You Think You Can Dance), Dance Empowerment (Touring with the Harlem Globe Trotters), HM Dance (first place winner Hmong Dance Competition California), Altered Modalities (Professional Dance Group), and many more.
As more and more groups discover and support us in the spirit of dance, we will continue to strive to bring you bigger and better events in the future.
